Thrill Combos

Book - The Originals Combo

Queenstown is renowned for being the adventure capital of the world and no bucket list is complete without experiencing these two iconic original activities – AJ Hackett Kawarau Bungy and KJet Queenstown. KJET have teamed up with AJ Hackett to bring you The Originals combo for one great price, saving you $41 per adult!

If you’re going to throw yourself off a perfectly good bridge, then you may as well do it in Queenstown where it all began at the Kawarau Bungy Bridge. This original 43 metre Bungy Jump is still the most famous of leaps. For that extra adrenaline rush, try a dunk in the mighty Kawarau River.

Then, get ready for an insane 60 minute ride on the mighty Shotover & Kawarau Rivers. Go full throttle at speeds of 95kph on the fastest and meanest Jet boats in town. You’ll be screaming to go faster. There’s a reason they’ve been around for over 60 years…it’s in their blood.

What should I wear?

For your comfort we recommend that you dress for the weather conditions on the day, keeping in mind that in the boats you will be travelling at 85 KPH and therefore the wind-chill can be frosty! Don't forgot to bring your sunglasses, (or goggles in winter) sunscreen, as well as hats & gloves in winter months.

Please ensure your little ones are dressed especially warm!

Can I take my bags on the boat?

KJET provide complimentary storage for your belongings. There is limited storage available so please keep in mind we can only store handbags and small backpacks.

Can I take my camera on board the boat?

On the trip there are many fantastic photo opportunities so yes, take your camera on board to capture these moments. However your camera is taken on board at your own risk, keep in mind with Jet boating there is the risk of getting slightly wet and you need to be able to hold on to the hand rails, especially during the 360° spins.

Will I get wet?

Part of fun with Jet boating is the spray and drama! KJET provide full length spray

What age do I have to be to Bungy Jump?

All Bungy Jumpers are subject to Minimum age of 10 years old. Children 14 and under require an adult to sign consent at check-in and accompany them on their experience.

What are the weight and height restrictions for Kawarau Bungy?

There are no height restrictions on Bungy Jumping.

Weight limit: You must be between 35kg to 235kg. Weight difference between tandem Jumpers must not exceed 30kg, Maximum combined weight is 235kg.

Do I have to wear shoes?

Covered footwear is mandatory for the Nevis Bungy. As for the Kawarau Bridge Bungy, The Ledge and the Nevis Swing, you may choose to wear shoes or go barefoot.

Can my friends and family come watch me?

Yes! There is a great viewing area at the bungy centre, they can self drive or book a space on the bungy bus for free!

Can I drive myself?

You are welcome to drive yourself and there is plenty of free parking. Kawarau Bungy Centre is located at the Kawarau Bungy Centre, State Highway #6 (SH6), Gibbston Valley, Queenstown.

How long does it take?

Self-drive: Allow 1.5 hours
Bungy Bus: Allow 2.5 hours

Do I need to book ahead?

We strongly suggest to all customers that they book at least 48hrs in advance for all activities to ensure that they secure a time and date that best suits them.

What's the difference between the 3 Bungy Sites in Queenstown?

The main difference is the size; the Nevis Bungy is almost 3 times higher than the Kawarau Bridge and The Ledge Bungy sites. The Nevis is our big one- 134m of pure adrenaline action, wearing a full body harness that attaches at both your waist and feet.

The Kawarau is the original - the only site that allows you to get wet if your heart desires and the only one where you are lowered down into a raft after your jump.  It is also the only site in Queenstown where you can tandem Bungy!

The Ledge Bungy is the only site where your feet are not tied- it is a full body harness jump that allows you do a freestyle jump, back flips, running off etc
