Snow Packages

Book - Learner Lift

The first timer package is perfectly designed as an introduction to snow sports for someone who has NEVER EVER experienced skiing or snowboarding. With the right combination of strategically place lessons combined with time to practice what you've learnt the non-skier/snowboarder will transform into a snow bunny in no time.

With rental equipment collected on mountain there is no need to worry about wrestling with foreign equipment on main street Queenstown. Simply board a pre-booked bus directly from your accommodation, check in on the mountain and the friendly staff from Cardrona will take care of all of your equipment, direct you to your lesson meeting point and point you in the right direction.

Please remember it is our job to make your holiday the best it can be, and everything you want it to be. If there is any part of this package you wish to review or alter please don’t hesitate to drop us an email & we would be more than happy to review your options. Likewise feel free to see our flexible package options and pay for only what you need.

How do I make up my own package? I can’t see one that suits me

Email us and we can put together a custom itinerary with everything you need and nothing you don't.

Is clothing included in the packages?

No, however you can rent all clothing necessary where and when you collect your rental equipment.

Can I swap between skiing and snowboarding on this package?

No, not for the 2 day beginner package as it is recommended that you stick to one discipline during the learning phase.

Should I get a lesson if I have never skied/snowboarded before?

Yes. At least one lesson is recommended if you have never skied/snowboarded before. The instructor will teach you techniques and ways to do things to prevent injury. You will progress much faster in lessons with a qualified instructor rather than if you were to learn from a friend or just go for it on your own, meaning the rest of your ski holiday will be much more enjoyable.

Is there anything to do for non-skiers?

Yes. There is tubing at The Remarkables and guided snowshoe tours available. Browse the Thrill and Relax areas of our site to see the numerous activities available to book in Queenstown. If you can get boared in the adventure tourism capital of the world there is something wrong.
