Altitude Tours offers Queenstown wine tours to the Gibbston Valley wine region, Central Otago’s premier wine growing area.

Choose from two wine (and beer) tasting experiences with their handpicked selection of the best wineries and cellar doors less than an hour from Queenstown.

Relax in the comfort of their luxury 2017 Mercedes vans, with complimentary hotel transfers providing a door to door service on the wine sampler tour and central Queenstown pick up/drop off for the twilight tour.


TWO EXPERIENCES: 

  • On the Wine Sampler tour you will enjoy wine tastings at 3-4 cellar doors in Gibbston including a visit to New Zealand’s largest underground wine cave. 
  • On the Twilight Wine & Craft Beer Tour enjoy wine or beer tastings at 2 cellar doors and then a 3rd local spot in Gibbston where an antipasto platter & wood fired pizza is served to share.

WINE SAMPLER

INCLUDES:

  • Accommodation Transfers to/from Queenstown
  • 3-4 tastings
  • Wine Cave Tour
  • Time for optional lunch at a premier winery (at your expense)
  • Complimentary bottled water

  • Cellar Doors may include: Gibbston Valley, Kinross,  Waitiri Creek, Akarua, Mt Rosa, Wild Earth, Wooing Tree, Carrick, Mt Difficulty, Amisfield, Felton Road
  • Depending on time of the year, public holidays or other factors outside of Altitude Tours control they reserve the right to take customers to a range of quality cellar doors and cannot guarantee a particular location.

TWILIGHT WINE & CRAFT BEER TOUR

INCLUDES:

  • Accommodation Transfers to/from Queenstown
  • 3 tastings
  • Shared light meal including antipasto platter and wood fire pizza 
  • Complimentary bottled water
