Book - Skyline Gondola Mountain Bike Pass

Skyline Queenstown is home to New Zealand's first Gondola assisted bike lift, providing direct access to Queenstown Bike Park.

Ride more with over 25 world class mountain biking trails and varying terrain for all abilities. In amongst the pine trees of the Ben Lomond Reserve, Queenstown Bike Park boasts over 30km of tracks and a longest run of 6km. A 450 metre vertical rise via the Skyline Gondola gives riders easy access to arguably New Zealand's best mountain bike park.

Attach your mountain bike to your Gondola cabin at the Skyline Queenstown base and enjoy the leisurely uphill Gondola ride before detaching your bike and taking on the legendary challenges of the Queenstown Bike Park!

2018-19 OPEN TIMES: 

  • 9AM to 5PM

Closing times vary according to daylight hours. The usual closing time is 5PM and is extended through until 8PM as light allows in the peak summer months.
Please note: Seasonal operational schedules are set at the discretion of Skyline Queenstown and can be amended at any time.

Blackout Dates: 
Due to peak holiday periods & special events the Gondola mountain bike service will be closed from the 25 December (Christmas Day) to the 14 January, 19 April (Good Friday) to 22 April (Easter Monday) inclusive. 

Special Events: 
There could be some further closures to be announced for event schedules during other mountain bike events. These days are usually only open to bike event participants, so keep an eye out for more details.

Important Information:
Mountain bike operations at Skyline may be affected by Queenstown Lake District Council’s planned tree removal adjacent to the Gondola line. Tree removal is scheduled to be ongoing for the duration of the 2018 bike season. During this time, Gondola access to the Queenstown Bike Park may be limited.

Skyline Mountain Bike: Full Day Pass:
Ride more with over 14 world class mountain biking trails and varying terrain for all abilities.

  • Child Age 5 - 14 years $65.00

Skyline Mountain Bike: 3 Day Pass:
This pass is valid for 1 week from the first day of riding. Can be non-consecutive and must be used within a week.

Skyline Mountain Bike: 50 Ride Pass:
Can be used at anytime throughout the season.
